Explore a massive underground GTFO world! You are part of the prisoners’ team forced to explore an underground world full of monsters. Equip and use tools necessary for survival as you work together fighting off the enemies!
You‘re a captive landed in The Rundown. A new Work Order was issued by a Warden. Nobody really knows who or what he really is. You have to do a series of expeditions, going deeper and deeper into something called the Complex. And, what happened in the Complex, well… you don’t know yet, but it’s definitely mysterious and weird.
It’s not an easy game, but a rewarding one! How do you play it, and what to look for?
In GTFO, you’re in a four-strong group with friends, strangers, or bots. The key to surviving here is to work together in the best way possible.
You have to rely on your teammates, and they need to know that you have their back. It’s recommended to bring the friends with whom you have a strong connection or maybe better not? As they say, friends will help you out when you fall, but your best friend will laugh at you and record it to post it online.

The most important thing about clearing the Rundown is to get the best gear there is. You can choose your weapons, boosters, and other stuff to ensure you have the right tools to take out those sneaky bastards.
Remember to communicate with your team while doing so. Your gear has to complement your teammates, so make sure you choose wisely.
You do not want to wake up the monsters. And – you don’t have to. Unless it’s your idea of being a hero – then go on! For all the other sane members of society – use your stealth and coordinate the attack as you go.
Monsters are usually hibernated until you poke them, wake them up, or flash them with some light. Also, if you wake up one of them, they all get going, and you really do not want that!
Mysterious Warden is known for his Rundown-issuing actions, so remember to check out what’s new on the table. Keep in mind — if a Rundown gets finished, it is being deleted forever, and you cannot do it again.
New Rundowns drop every now and then, so you don’t have to worry that you won’t have anything to do. You are the prisoner of some weird, creepy guy with some Work Order obsession after all.
GTFO received positive feedback with almost 30,000 “very positive” reviews on Steam. Players have praised the dark and gruesome climate of the game, shooting mechanics, and the sneaking aspect of the game. Many have also noticed the great visuals and overall attention to detail. The game has received a lot of praise even before the official release. During The Game Awards 2017, GTFO was warmly received and named the Best Cooperative Game at E3 2018 by DualShockers.
